On Monday 19 September, 2022, Sarah Meire successfully defended her PhD titled “Virtual interlining in the European airport network and the quest for new datasets in air transport geography”. She obtained the degree of Doctor of Science: Geography (UGent). This research was supervised by Prof. Dr. Ben Derudder (UGent, KU Leuven).
