Travel behaviour, residential location choice and attitudes

This study analyses differences in travel behaviour between urban and non-urban residents. Travel-related attitudes, however, can affect this relation as persons can have a preference for a specific neighbourhood (e.g., urban neighbourhood) as this neighbourhood makes it possible to easily travel with his/her preferred travel mode (e.g., public transport). Within this research, dr. Van Acker has a special focus on lifestyles, while dr. De Vos incorporates travel satisfaction.
