STREAM: Spatiotemporal research infrastructure for early modern Flanders and Brabant

STREAM intends to develop a spatio-temporal research infrastructure for early modern Flanders and Brabant. The infrastructure consists of a GIS and database in which original and harmonized statistical data are stored for diverse moments in time. This enables scientists to easily consult historical data and to integrate and interpret them in their research. Besides providing a historical topographic map, the system allows consulting different data on e.g. demography, trade and social structures for different time slices.
