So-called 'neogeography maps' on the Internet are often not created by cartographers and were never evaluated by the actual end users. Consequently, besides accuracy, their usability is also questionable. The aim of the project is to evaluate the usability issues by the end users at a detailed level. User evaluation experiments will be conducted, e.g. online survey, eye tracking, thinking aloud. Based on the results of these experiments improved products and recommendations will be defined.
