Dr. Tom Willems elected as Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation

Congratulations to Tom Willems, Senior GNSS Researcher at Septentrio and voluntary researcher at the 3D Data Acquisition Research Unit. On the 10th of July, during the annual general meeting of the Royal Institute of Navigation, Tom was elected as Fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation in recognition of his contribution to the development and support of Galileo Test User Segment receivers during the Galileo in-orbit validation phase. The prize was awarded by Shaesta Waiz, the youngest woman ever to complete a solo trip around the world in an single-engine airplane.
