Robbe Viville (°1999) obtained his Master's degree in Geography & Geomatics at Ghent University in 2022. Since October 2022, he has been working as a scientific staff member at the CartoGIS research group. He is associated with the ERC AdG Transpacific project, a collaboration between the History Research Unit of KULeuven and the Department of Geography of Ghent University, in which the structure and impact of the Manila Galleon Trade (16th-18th century) are investigated and analysed in detail. He is co-responsible for the geomatics side of this project.
