Laure started working at the Department of Geography in October 2017. Her research focuses on adaptive indoor route guidance. In her PhD she combines space syntax, building complexity, user perception and route communication. In the first stage of her research she programmed an online survey. Next, the results of this survey were tested in the real-life environment with a mobile indoor wayfinding system. During this last experiment, she used an eye-tracker to monitor the interaction between users and technology. She explains her research in her own words here.
