Bio
Jialin Deng (°1996, China) is a PhD student at the Social and Economic Geography research group of the Geography Department at Ghent University. He holds a Bachelor degree in Tourism Management at Sun Yat-sen University, China, and a Master degree in Public Policy at the University of Bristol, UK. His research is related to travel behavior, informal spatial governance and sustainable mobility. Currently, he is focusing on the impact of gentrification on travel behavior in transit-oriented development areas. He is supervised by Prof. Dr. Frank Witlox and Dr. Long Cheng.
