Soetkin Vervust is a doctoral researcher at the Geography Department since 2011. Her PhD research is funded by the Research Foundation - Flanders (FWO) and focuses on the Carte de cabinet of count de Ferraris (18th c.) and the use of digital techniques for the study of old maps. Since 2015 she serves as Executive Secretary of the ICA Commission on the History of Cartography.
