Wanghao Xiao (°1992) spent 5 years in China Guangdong Research institute of Water Resources and Hydropower as a water and hydropower information engineer focusing on flood mapping and flood emergency management. He is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Geography since March 2021. His key research interests concern issues related to geoinformatics and remote sensing in urban flooding. He aims to find a method to foresee the flood risk area and impact in the near real-time.
