Maryam Teimouri

Maryam Teimouri (°1983, Tehran) holds a Master degree in Geomatics and Surveying Engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran. Maryam's research interest is Geographic Information System (GIS) and its application in different disciplines. Currently, she is a PhD student at the Department of Geography, Ghent University. Her research mainly focuses on Moving Objects and GIS. Presently, she is trying to establish an improved Map Matching algorithm for trajectories of moving objects captured by GPS.
